Bloggen...wat is dat lang geleden zeg!
Zo heerlijk weer om te doen en zo ineens had ik ook inspiratie.
Ik ga geen excuus aandragen hoor waarom ik er zolang tussenuit ben geweest
want iedereen begrijpt wel dat je met een eigen winkel erg druk ben, haha...
Maar oh...
wat is het GE-WEL-DIG
om onze grote hobby elke dag uit te kunnen oefenen en
wat zijn we blij met alle lieve klanten van De Brocante Dames (klik)
Zo ook afgelopen week
toen we deze lieve poppen even mooi wilden
vastleggen op de foto.
Eerst een schoon gewassen truitje aan voor de celluloid pop.
Bij het chinese popje een vlechtje met kantje in het haar...
Victoriaans bedje erbij en de zachtblauwe schoentjes met gipskruid.
Op de achtergrond het Franse kinderspreitje (al verkocht)
de mooie babytruitjes en de lakentjes voor een ledikantje,
zo lief allemaal!!!
Het jochie zat er trots bij met z'n fris gewassen truitje
en ongewild gingen mijn herinneringen terug
naar m'n slaapkamertje thuis bij mijn ouders.
Uren kon ik spelen met poppen, verkleden, verzorgen, naar bed...
en later met Barbies hun hele huis verbouwen,
het zat er toen al in, haha...
Maar even terug naar deze poppen
waar wij zo mee aan het 'spelen' waren...
De meeste celluloid poppen komen uit de jaren '40
De kunststof CELLULOID werd uitgevonden in Amerika rond 1865.
Het was de eerste kunstof die geblazen werd en sterker was dan porselein.
Vandaar dat werd gekozen voor de naam SCHILDPAD
in de fabriek in Mannheim-Neckarau.
(Dit is overigens geen schildpad pop)
Tegenwoordig is er ook een echt
Schildpad museum en worden er,
in samenwerking met Hesemans in Breda,
nog steeds poppen en beren gemaakt.
Naast dit stoere manneke zit een klein chinees popje.
Haar lijfje volledig genaaid en gevuld met stro,
een heus oudje...rond 1930-1940.
Haar gezichtje is crackele door de tand des tijds,
maar oh wat een lief snoetje ook.
De poppenkinders zitten weer lekker binnen in de poppenhoek.
Zij verdienen een mooi thuis waar ze een liefdevol plekje krijgen.
